Overview
Do you have a background in steel stockholding or processing? Do you have the commercial awareness to develop new business and manage a small team? If so we want to hear from you An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our key clients, who are a successful steel and metals company based in the Bournemouth area. Due to a sustained period of success and growth they are looking to add a dynamic, driven, Sales Manager to help build on the achievements of the current team and become part of their growing success story. Any experience in a commercial role within the steel and metals industry will be advantageous, whether that be ferrous or non ferrous stockholding, processing or added value services such as laser cutting and fabrication. Key responsibilities Winning and developing new business Nurturing existing customers Mentoring a team of salespeople and estimators Setting and monitoring KPI's and sales targets Deputising in the General Managers absence Reporting to directors Required Skills Ability to communicate at all levels and engage with customers Awareness to spot an opportunity Excellent communication skills Demonstrate ability to win new business The salary for this role is dependant on experience - 35-45K Performance related bonuses and perks Mon - Fri 40 hours per week
