Overview

Service Desk Manager required by a nationwide, reputable retailer based in Amersham. The Service Desk Manager will be responsible for leading a Service Desk team of 3 supporting office, stores, and warehouse staff daily. This is an exciting opportunity for a Service Desk Manager with experience in a retail IT environment to guide and continuously improve the efficiency of the IT service in a fun and busy environment. Reporting to the IT Service Assurance Manager, the Service Desk Manager will be primarily responsible for the overall line management of the Service Desk Team and be a point of escalation for any issues, internal and external. They will be adept in producing relevant statistics and management reports as well as implementing retail systems in stores and warehouses. This is a great opportunity to influence change aimed squarely at evolving a well-recognised brand with a real community spirit. Essential Skills and Knowledge: - ITIL Certification in Helpdesk Management - Skilled in managing a IT service desk team and dealing with the tasks of people management - Experience supporting Windows environments, Office 365, Active Directory, Store POS systems and Microsoft Suite - Strong understanding and confident using the internal service desk tool Hornbill - Adept in supporting retail/EPOS systems Ideally, candidates will have experience of working for a retailer in an IT capacity.
