Overview

An opportunity for a Sales Manager with Packaging Machinery Experience to join one of the market leaders in the Packaging Machinery sector. The company manufactures and sells bespoke Packaging Machinery primarily into the food market. The company is looking to grow further and as such, a role has opened for an Regional Sales Manager to join the sales team and cover the North of England. This role will focus on business development and increasing the sales of the company’s Packaging Machinery for the Food Industry, particularly the packaging of Produce Products such as Fruit, Vegetables and Salads. The patch for this role will be the North of England, and this will be a home-based role with visits to the company office in Sheffield as and when required. This is a well-established company who are a major player in this industry, and they place a large focus on collaborative working. They are looking for someone with enthusiasm and an outgoing personality who can proactively drive the company's sales and is also willing to contribute to the company internally. The role primarily involves the following aspects: Driving the business' sales of Packaging Machinery within the Food Industry in the specified region Identifying new business development opportunities, targeting new markets and managing leads obtained Regular visits to prospective and existing clients Building and maintaining good relationships with existing clients by calling and maintaining existing customer accounts. Strong candidates will be able to display the following: 2 years of experience working with Packaging Machinery (preferably within the food industry) Proven capital machinery sales ability Ability to identify client requirements and discuss bespoke solutions Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with customers and colleagues An enthusiastic attitude to proactively drive sales and help develop the business A valid UK driving license The remuneration package for this role is laid out below: Salary: £35,000-£40,000 Commission Structure: 1% of sales Profit Share Scheme Company car (candidate can choose within reason) 25 days holiday bank holidays 5% Employer matched pension Company phone and laptop Company medical scheme and life insurance If this role is of interest to you, please apply through the link and I will be conducting interviews on the week commencing Monday 16th March.
