Overview

A leading supplier of telecommunication solutions to East Anglia is looking to appoint an ambitious Field Sales Manager. This highly pivotal appointment will come with the opportunity for progression to Directorship and possibly ownership for the successful individual. The initial key focus is to lead and motivate the sales team, implement marketing strategies and ensure sales targets are met. With longer term focus on developing wider commercial and operational experience. Duties of the Field Sales Manager include: Leading a team of sales representatives and coaching them in order to maximize sales and productivity Liaising with upper management ensuring sales targets are met Analysing current marketplace and feeding back important market and competitive information. Training sales team on sales techniques, administration and product Planning, executing, and managing sales strategies Generating new leads and developing existing customers Responding to customer enquiries Work with marketing team to deliver improvements in brand engagement scores across different territories Requirements for the role: Commercially aware and highly ambitious Strong communication skills In depth understanding of sales and marketing principles Experience leading and managing a field-based team Proven sales experience in a B2B environment Previous experience in the telecommunications/tech market (essential) Longer term requirements: Ownership of company P&L, balance sheet and cashflow Management of external relationships including key suppliers Full business oversight for accounting, HR and business infrastructure Directorship of the whole business including all team management and resource planning If you are proven sales team leader with an identifiable track record of success who has ambitions of running/owning a profitable business then please contact Claire at Atkinson Moss to find out more.
