Overview
Nelson Permanent Placements are currently recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive to work with our client who are a Manufacturing organisation based in the West Bromwich area. We are looking to speak to candidates who are motivated by winning new business or people who want to make their first step within the sales industry. It will be your duty to represent the business in a professional manner as you will be the first point of contacts with customers. This role will suit someone who is experienced in maximising sales by continually expanding orders and up selling on all incoming and outgoing calls with office experience, however our client is also keen to offer the right training and support for people have a drive and a desire to be successful. Package Salary up to £25,000 15% of salary bonus Early finish on a Friday Responsibilities: Process Sales Orders on to IT System - This involves ensuring the Order is processed onto the correct Customer Account, correct part codes are selected, correct delivery destination is recorded and correct lead-time is recorded and communicated to the Customer. Contact Customer for amendments orders, if order shows incorrect price, no carriage also if no stock is available. Achieving individual sales targets set each month by Sales Management. To pro-actively seek new business in the specified product range, by targeting a combination of existing customer base and prospective customers. Maximise sales GP by continually expanding orders and up selling on all incoming and outgoing calls. Ownership and management of a designated group of customers with both assigned financial and activity based objectives. Ensure all orders received are provided in a daily & timely manner to the commercial administrator in order to ensure they are entered into the system accurately. Ensure all quotations on the system are followed up within the required deadlines, utilising our project management and CRM tool as necessary. Liaise on a daily basis with operations and update them on any large quantity orders that you have placed but not necessarily forecast. Ensure a high level of team relationships exist internally. Assist the Sales and Marketing Managers to get customers to attend events & seminars. Maintain an agreed level of pro-active telephone contact with both existing and prospective customers, operating a call-out cycle, which includes updating customer events and call logging systems as required. Ensure that customer complaints, issues and queries reach a successful and appropriate conclusion. Where relevant, such matters must be escalated to the Sales Office Manager. Manage the sales process for resolving the cancellation of orders. Ensuring that such matters are expedited speedily. Responsibility for ensuring that appropriate approvals are attained should levels of price reduction outside of your parameters be required. Ensure that the external sales team is kept informed of any developments relevant to their accounts. Ensure the rest of the internal sales team are kept informed of developments within your customer range should you be absent or if the account has any cross over activities. Meet and exceed the agreed performance objectives. Perform any ad hoc duties deemed appropriate by the Sales Management Team. To attend product training as arranged by Sales Management. To achieve team and individual targets as set by Sales Management Team in time scales agreed. To keep in regular contact with designated accounts and with the relevant sales persons. Ensure that customer queries that cannot be dealt with satisfactorily are to be passed to a member of the Sales Management Team. Maintain a professional standard at all times. Requirements of the Internal Sales Executive: To be punctual, be polite and courteous to customers at all times. Have experience within the Manufacturing Industry Focus on outlined monthly drive lines and achieve set targets. 000Ability to effectively produce sales quotations and follow up to order. This role is working 37.5 hours a week Monday to Thursday 9am-5pm and Friday 8am-4pm. The candidate will also be eligible for an annual bonus of 15% of their base salary. 22 days holiday a year which increases by 1 day as each year is completed however it does cap at 25 days, the company also offers pension and a health scheme How to apply: Please send your CV to the email address detailed below.
