Overview

We are delighted to be recruiting a Telesales Executive for the UK’s leading procurement and supply chain management scheme within the construction industry. Their aim is to provide efficiency savings to public and private sector buyers and the construction industry as a whole by streamlining procurement procedures and improving the supply chain management processes. Key responsibilities will include; • Contacting potential or existing customers to inform them about a product or service • Achieve Targets set in place • Sign up & upgrade suppliers • Confidently answer questions about products in order to close the sale • Update the CRM with lead data, keeping records of calls and useful information • Go the "extra mile" to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales • Assist customers with the membership application process • Liaise effectively with all departments to ensure customer requirements are appropriately met • Data cleansing • Ad hoc duties as required Requirements • Proven experience as telesales representative or other sales/customer service role • Proven track record of successfully meeting sales quota preferably over the phone • Good knowledge of relevant computer programs (e.g. CRM software) and telephone systems • Ability to learn about products and services and describe/explain them to prospects • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Outstanding negotiation skills with the ability to resolve issues and address complaints • Ability to work effectively in a team and individually • Ability to work under own initiative, prioritise workload and meet deadlines • Proactive 'can-do’ attitude Hours of work are Monday to Friday 9am - 5.30pm
