Our client is a leading high street bank providing mortgage products across the residential, investment and HMO markets UK wide. With a low volume, high quality and compliance driven approach, Staff Surveyors working for them generally undertake no more (but sometimes less) than 3 x reports daily underpinned by sensible booking and basic salary led remuneration. As a result of an upturn in instructions (specifically within their Buy-to-Let and HMO lending divisions) an additional full time Staff Surveyor is required for coverage of SK, LL , CH, CW and SY postcodes from home. Despite the apparent size of patch, jobs are arranged so that the successful Staff Valuer spends a day in EACH of the postcodes covered as opposed to visiting each postcode daily, coupled to sensible turnaround times, thereby ensuring both quality of life and local expertise. Suitable Surveyors may be working in corporate or independent practice at present, come from a stable career background and be familiar with working to lender formats (albeit in this case there is only one format to work to). In addition, Surveyors will need to hold MRICS/FRICS qualification, have a clear DBS/CRB and Credit History, ideally (but not essentially) some BTL / HMO inspection experience and live within range of the postcodes covered.
