We have exciting growth plans for this year and are looking for a detail-focused NGS Lab Technician to join us on our mission! Your role. If you have at least two years wet lab experience in NGS, and are looking to work in a dynamic environment, then this is the role for you! As our NGS Lab Technician, you will be able to adapt to changing demands in the wet lab environment, and will understand the importance of lab documentation. With a broad knowledge of molecular techniques, and an endless hunger for knowledge, learning, and growth, you will be contributing work that will positively impact humanity and fundamentally change scientific discovery forever! What youll do in this role. * You will support the NGS team to ensure high-quality NGS data is generated to meet the internal and external milestones. * You will maintain an excellent record of lab book and technical notes by the GLP standards for the various NGS pipelines integrated in-house. * You will demonstrate an ability to execute wet-lab work within short timelines, with the capacity to adapt to rapid changes in project priorities. * You will keep accurate experimental/data records that can be shared across a matrix team environment. Requirements What were looking for from you. * You will have excellent lab-based skills with broad expertise in molecular techniques such as nucleic acid isolation, multiplex PCR and qPCR. * You will have experience with the day-to-day running of high-throughput sequencing platforms (e.g., Illumina MiSeq and iSeq) * Youll have exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas clearly to multi-disciplinary teams. * Youll pride yourself on your attention to detail, and always maintain the highest standards in the lab environment.
