Field Sales Engineer Fire systems Birmingham, Midlands £35,000 - £45,000 basic – OTE £60,000 Company car, phone, laptop, 23 days holidays plus bank holidays, commission, fuel card, credit card and pension My client is a well established but growing Fire systems specialists and due to planned growth they are looking for an experienced Field Sales Engineer to join their friendly, passionate and dynamic team. The company has been established for over 10 years, they specialise in the design, supply and commission of high end Fire systems across the UK. My client is Gent integrators as well as Eaton partners and Hyfire partners. The need for a Field Sales Engineer is urgent as they have big plans for the company over the next few years. The role: In this role, the ideal candidate will have experience in selling Fire Systems to electrical contractors across the Midlands, however in this role you can go further a field across the UK. You will be expected to achieve monthly targets of circa £65,000 and have the ability to create designs and estimates yourself for the customers. My client have an office based in the Midlands which you can work from, however you would be expected to be out meeting clients as much as possible. A good understanding of BS5839 will be required, as you will be expected to consult customers on what systems they will need and have the ability to sell the solution. My client are wanting someone who have a “get up and go” attitude and someone who have the ability not to just sell on price. The role is a new business role, however what ever works you bring on would be down to you to manage the account. Experience and Skills required: - Proven sales record within the Fire alarm industry - Fire alarm design experience, FIA / BS5839 knowledge - Engineering background would be an advantage - Happy to travel - Proven record of achieving monthly and annual target - Full UK Driving licence In return: In return my client is paying a healthy basic salary of up to £45,000 along with a generous commission structure which should see you earn over £60,000 per annum.
