Overview
Amazing opportunity to join this highly successful & entrepreneurial nationwide Luxury Retailer based out of the Midlands. Due to the current Covid-19 crisis, this role is currently on hold, but we are taking applications in light of this situation being resolved in the not too distant future. This is a National Sales role reporting into the UK Sales Director, with roughly 2 days in the Head Office in Lichfield, Staffs and 3 days on the road. There will be extensive nationwide travel required with overnight stays and occasional evenings and weekends. You should come from a LUXURY background (ideally retail but not essential) and be proven in increasing sales and revenue. They offer a gorgeous product , selling high end original Art & Limited Editions - an art background is not essential but a passion for the product is They currently have 55 luxury retail galleries nationwide, as well as on board cruise ships, and are currently expanding You will drive sales to ensure Area and Group achieve monthly and annual target, whilst having a hands-on approach to lead and inspire a team of Area Sales Managers in executing and growing their retail plan. DUTIES: Motivating and inspiring to create an environment of success through team collaboration and inspiring leadership by spending time in the field alongside Area Sales Managers to coach and train teams ensuring delivery against both commercial and operational needs of the business and working towards our overall plan. Creating driving and implementing ground-breaking bespoke initiatives to develop organisational sustainability and growth whilst always exceeding both personal and Retail expectations. Develop and lead the delivery of exceptional client experience and execution of the sales journey in all galleries and maximise every sales opportunity driving consistency of approach on all aspects of retail operations. Manage high-level relationships with clients and identify new business opportunities within existing client base. Live in the detail by implementing, monitoring and analysing sales performance metrics and suggest improvements. Collaborate with Head Office Departments to ensure the highest standard of understanding and support related to customer and sale initiatives. Provide senior level support at high profile and key touring artist events. Drive Retail recruitment and identify training needs ensuring they are met and progressed in a timely manner. Manage all People related elements for direct reports and support Area Sales Managers with their teams. In partnership with the Area Sales Managers ensure that all galleries are compliant in each aspect of health & safety, security, People and operations. Uphold and promote company values and philosophy as well as protect and develop their brand and reputation. Promote a working environment that encourages teamwork, energy and creativity. This role will require evening and weekend work on occasions for events and tours. YOU: Ideally degree educated / professional qualification in Sales or equivalent relevant subject 5 years proven track record of success in a leadership / people management position in a multi-site retail / sales organisation. A natural coach and trainer able to develop teams to maximise sales generation. Proven track record of achieving monthly and annual targets. Proven record of accomplishment of consistently delivering the highest levels of performance in generating sales and ensuring great service to customers across multi-site operations. Strong working knowledge of CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. A deeply curious and avid learner, constantly looking for ways to improve and creatively solve operational problems with a longer-term strategic focus. Entrepreneurial and inspiring working style able to manage and support the performance and development of the team to be high performing and collaborative experts. Passionate about operational and sales excellence. Determined, resilient and controlled under pressure. Have a people centric nature able to set clear goals, coach team members and entrusting employees with significant responsibility and supporting them to achieve quality results. Have a thorough understanding of the luxury market. Must have a full UK Driving License and be willing to travel extensively nationwide with frequent overnight stays.
