Chromatography Sales Manager UK wide, home based Fantastic salary and benefits & career progression - company car & bonus Our client is the global leader in analytical Chemistry instrumentation, training and consultancy services. To support the continued successful growth of the business in the UK, our client is looking for a Sales Specialist with solid knowledge in chromatography. Reporting to the UK Sales Manager the Sales Executive's primary duties comprise, but are not limited to: Business development and lead generation with proven experience This role will rely on the ability of the candidate to generate their own leads. Developing and executing a targeted business development strategy Qualifying all incoming leads from a successful outbound marketing campaign Assisting the Group Marketing Manager with the development of promotional activities to include Maintaining appropriate CRM records Attending relevant trade shows, exhibitions, table-tops/other promo events to promote the range Commercial competence including; preporation of quotations o Carrying out commercial negotiation to close for prospects derived from outbound or business development campaigns Generating sales forecasts on a regular basis Having the ability to independently conduct demonstrations/training sessions on the equipment, at a customer facility The candidate will be expected to have at least 2 years of sales experience within chemistry based markets, and so a familiarity with the process of evaporation and chromatography would be desired The team is friendly and close knit, consisting of 4, supported by a sales administrator, marketing manager, accounts and engineering functions. THE CANDIDATE: The successful candidate is likely to meet the brief below: To be educated to minimum degree standard in a science, or have sufficient experience in a chemistry based discipline relevant to the product applications To show a commercial track record in the selling of scientific equipment, or similar To be able to absorb new process technologies quickly and easily To be able to confidently converse with potential clients across all aspects of the project spectrum i.e. technical, commercial, and logistics, to ensure deals can be closed, efficiently To be prepared to meet customers on their site Be a confident, motivated self-starter who thrives on a high degree of autonomy o The candidate should be able to demonstrate their ability to work within the remit provided This role has huge potential and the longer term career opportunity with my client is exceptional.
