Overview

Due to established performance and growth in our Scottish IT and Digital recruitment business, we are looking for a Recruitment Consultant to join the Glasgow team and help us build the business. This newly created job will see you selling recruitment products & services to both new and existing business customers across the tech market. Some key aspects of the role will include pro-actively generating leads and converting to sales, working closely with colleagues to identify & source sales leads, identifying opportunities to make recommendations that promote company approved products and techniques, presenting at external meetings representing the Hays brand, managing the penetration of your territory according to an agreed market development strategy and developing new and existing business using effective, appropriate and ethical sales methods. What you'll need to succeed with us You will likely come from a sales background to excel in this post, and will in turn have a confident approach to business development and be able to display that you are adept at dealing with a diverse portfolio of clients. Core competencies will include excellent written and verbal communication skills, a very high level of computer literacy & accuracy, the ability to build lasting relationships and deliver exceptional customer service and a results-driven approach. The successful applicant will likely have previous success selling to an end user, evidence of delivering consistent new business and growing existing, and be able to demonstrate effective selling and presentation techniques to influence the customer.
