Overview
Job Title: Business Development Manager Salary : £25k-£32k £6k bonus Location: Haywards Heath Permanent Our client based in Haywards Heath is looking to recruit an Account Manager/Business Development Manager to join their team. Responsibilities Responsible for generating revenue and maximising profitability and sales growth by selling the company's products, services, and/or solutions via telephone. Working closely with the Area Business Managers to ensure swift implementation in formulary and tender/contract win areas. Ensuring excellent level of customer service and experience. Conduct business reviews with key accounts to identify new business opportunities and manage ongoing customer interaction. Use consultative selling skills to engage new customers and probe to uncover unmet needs and opportunities. Increasing the awareness and usage of the client's products and services via pre-defined quarterly sales campaigns. Working with Area Business Manager's to identify key customer sites for implementation of products and services within formulary or contract win areas. Ensure all implementation plans are executed in the agreed timeframe and re- order/registrations rate is achieved as agreed plan. Detailed analysis of customer performance and make recommendations for improvements. Assess, clarify and validate customer needs on an ongoing basis with customers to ensure excellent customer service and maintain strong long lasting customer relationship. To provide inbound/outbound telephone coverage and order processing for vacant territories as and when required by the Area Business Managers. To take and process orders. To ensure where appropriate, that marketing campaigns are followed regarding product and/or price promotions. To communicate and work closely the Field Sales teams. When requested, undertake field visits with the Field Sales teams. Ensure knowledge of the client's products and services are maintained to a high level In conjunction with line management and/or colleagues, initiate and act upon an individual development plan (IDP). To be involved in projects, including those using agile and lean methodology at the request of line manager. To provide training support to existing team members and new starters as requested by line manager. To consistently adhere to GDPR and data privacy policies and processes. Maintain Job description to ensure it reflects current responsibilities and role requirements Requirements Proven success in sales role Sales account management experience Excellent oral and written communication skills including making impactful presentations via telephone Business acumen, problem solving, and negotiation skills needed Ability to work in a regulated environment Tactical planning and organisational skills Ability to drive revenue generation Demonstrates a high sense of personal responsibility with proven ability to manage challenging priorities whilst meeting deadlines and remain flexible and adaptable Experience working with the Google suite of programmes For more information please contact Jamie Watson at Clearline Recruitment.
