JOB TITLE: Trainee Recruitment Sales Consultant LOCATION: Birmingham SALARY: 20k basic as a Trainee (this will rise to a 25k basic within 6 months) OTE of around 60k in your first year, 80k in your second BENEFITS: Paid for mobile phone, gym membership, company car scheme, health insurance amongst others. POSITION: Trainee Recruitment Sales Consultant KEY REQUIREMENTS: 6 months successful B2B sales experience and the motivation to kick start your career in recruitment Who will you be working for as a trainee recruitment sales consultant? This company is a specialist permanent and contract staffing business currently comprised of 4 operating brands. Their first office opened in 1986 in London and in 1998 they began their international expansion with the launch of their first European office in Brussels. They currently have 22 UK offices and 30 non-UK offices. Throughout their 25 years they have grown organically and been consistently profitable and cash generative throughout this period. They are currently looking for several excellent trainee recruitment consultants The role of a trainee recruitment sales consultant? Recruitment is a fast paced energetic sales environment that offers the ability to earn money quickly and progress in your career through a meritocratic company. As a trainee recruitment sales consultant you will work in an office environment and on phones dealing with candidates and clients on a daily basis. The role of a trainee recruitment consultant involves cold calling to win new business and sourcing candidates through advertising and headhunting. You will be interviewing candidates and negotiating terms of business while maintaining successful client relationships. There are a lot of things to juggle as a trainee recruitment consultant so you have to keep your wits about you but as long as you can keep it going you should be hitting your targets, earning commission and celebrating your success each month Who we are looking for as trainee recruitment sales consultants? Must be able to sell 6- 12months industry experience in a corporate B2B sales environment Previous Recruitment Experience of up to 12 months would be preferable but is not essential Energetic and personable character with ability to build rapport over the phone Ambitious with a competitive nature and entrepreneurial flair Track record of success in sales, academics, sports or extracurricular activities Must be resilient and have strong examples of resilience Successful candidates will be financially motivated and driven by career progression. To be successful you will be persuasive, engaging, competitive and pro-active. Previous recruitment experience is not necessary due to the training provided - although we are always interested in talking to anyone who has had a bit of experience in the recruitment industry but fancies a change of company.
