Job Role - New Business Development Thermoforming Location - Covering the UK Industry - Packaging Solutions for primarily the food industry (Dairy) Salary - £DOE Commission Usual benefits The Company: Based in the UK, operating from two sites, the business manufactures a variety of products used in primarily the food industry. Rigid plastics formed through thermoforming, injection moulding, extrusion with printing capabilities to print and label. The New Business Development Manager Role: Our client is looking for a New Business Development professional which potentially 10% account management. Primarily to map out and develop new business from new customers across the UK particularly focussing on the Dairy industry. Working with the centre's management and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction and revenue generation, in line with company vision and values. New Business Development Manager Responsibilities and Key Performance Deliverables include: Identify strategic business opportunities to increase sales of the company's products within the UK Promotion of their facilities to new and existing clients through a pro-active approach Develop and submit quotes to customers, negotiating a necessary price to secure contracts Having the ability to recognise opportunities and the sales experience to nurture prospects into clients Develop a portfolio of clients into key accounts and lead a sales strategy for the UK Servicing the needs of existing customers Deliver sales updates and reporting Identify and develop prospects into clients Reporting of key quotations and new business opportunities to the SD Implement marketing, advertising and promotion planning as required Prioritise activities and prospects towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales Extensive travel within sales area Keeping up to date with products and competitors Packaging Manufacturing experience required.
