Sales Estimator & Surveyor - Leicestershire - Competitive Salary Benefits Regional Recruitment Services are currently on the search for a Sales Estimator and Surveyor for a fantastic door company. Our client is a successful family run business formed many years ago, and is a friendly company that is striving for honesty, quality and integrity from its workforce. Their highly skilled team carry out the supply, installation, servicing and maintenance of domestic garage doors across Leicestershire and beyond and commercial and industrial doors all over the UK. You will be working out of our modern premises complete with ample parking, office, factory and a first class garage door showroom facility. Benefits and Requirements : Highly competitive salary dependant on experience. Pool car available for all site visits initially. Basic hours of work are 8.30am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday. Occasional flexibility will be required however this will not be often. Ideally you will already have experience surveying industrial doors, garage doors or general building products and/or have a technical or installation background. Main Job Description : This is not a remote role as you will be office based with your own dedicated workspace and computer, leaving the office as and when required to carry out pre-arranged site visits - there is no cold calling or target driven sales at all When in the office, you will be completing estimates, quotations and liaising with customers, suppliers and our installation teams to ensure the jobs are seen right through to completion. This job will also involve but is not limited to: o Carrying out site visits for Garage Doors across Leicestershire and Rutland, and Commercial and Industrial Doors all across the East Midlands and further afield. o Liaising with customers from initial enquiry through to order progressing, arranging installations and dealing with after-sales enquiries. o Preparing quotes and estimates and ensuring these are communicated correctly with the customer via telephone, post or email. o Liaising with suppliers, including placing orders and checking and signing off order confirmations. o Providing general technical support and advice on a wide range of industrial, commercial and garage door products. Prospects of the Role : After an initial face-to-face interview with the Managing Director and Sales Manager, the successful applicant will be taken on a temp-to-perm basis through us at Regional Recruitment for 12 weeks before being offered a permanent position (if successful). The selected applicant will be expected to learn, be enthusiastic and demonstrate their ability or potential complete with a good attitude from their first day of starting with the company Following the start of a permanent position; salary c. £24-£28k per annum (dependent on experience) 30 days holiday increasing after 1st year (inc Bank Holidays) Signwritten Company Car Option for Private Fuel is available (subject to tax) Company iPhone. .
