In this role you will: Build and improve Charlie, a Rails app using the latest versions of Rails and Ruby Use our design system to ship functional and beautiful features that look and feel like Charlie Operate in a cross-functional team with other developers, designers, product managers Work with developers of all experience levels to ensure you’re constantly both learning and sharing your knowledge Feedback into product and business decisions and make your mark on Charlie A typical week will include: Shipping updates as soon as they're ready, often multiple times a day Working with other developers and reviewing code to maintain a high code quality and share knowledge across the team Team and company-wide meetings where we discuss strategy, provide updates and share feedback Requirements You must have: Professional experience with Ruby, and Ruby on Rails A very strong understanding of how the web and web applications work Confidence as an individual contributor; you are driven to join us in building a great product Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude; able to thrive in a team environment An enthusiasm for mentoring junior developers and helping others excel Experience and knowledge of databases, Git and Github And the nice to haves: Similar SaaS business experience Worked with design systems Familiarity with security (eg.
