Overview
The candidate for this position will enjoy being part of a lively sales team of six people, near Oxford Circus. Started in 1992, The Oldie is a high-profile general interest magazine with over 100,000 readers. You will be running our classifeds section of 7 pages per issue plus seven supplements and an annual every year. We are looking for someone who can engage with (and understand) small medium businesses across many consumer sectors from clothing to food to travel. We need someone who is both entrepreneurial and organised. Responsibilities Meet and exceed sales targets Successfully create business from new and existing customer accounts Manage negotiations with senior-level executives Build rapport and establish long term relationships with customers Qualifications sales experience preferred but not essential Good communication skills Team player
