Overview
Overview The Business Development Associate is responsible for helping generate sales revenue by converting pre-qualified leads into fully fledged deals. The role will span the sales journey from qualified lead to close; including running product demos, providing quotations based on requirements, understanding predefined pricing models, understanding specific needs of different industries and engaging with senior stakeholders at organisations up to Enterprise level. Duties and Responsibilities Provide quotes to customers based on requirements Handle potential customers through the early stages of the sales journey Provide product demos to potential customers Produce proposals for potential customers Ensure the CRM/data entry is up to date Responsible for turning leads into full deals Presenting forecasts to the Senior Management Team Generate referral leads Identify new business opportunities Deliver on key business targets Essential Skills Computer literate - including knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite Have a full, clean UK driving license Able to travel Exceptional communication skills Tenacity and an ability to spot & convert new opportunities Proactive selling approach Ability to adapt to changing market conditions Strong negotiator and able to handle pressure Ability to engage with senior business stakeholders Previous sales/account management experience Attention to detail Ability to run business meetings A good general standard of education including Maths and English Grade 9-4 (A - C) (or equivalent) or Level 2 literacy and Numeracy is essential. Desired Skills Experience working with a contact centre management tool or CRM Passionate, energetic and full of innovative commercial ideas Knowledge and experience of the SaaS sector Forecasting Experience Start Date: ASAP UPDATE: Due to the current events surrounding COVID-19, we will not be holding face to face interviews for this role at present.
