Exciting Opportunity for a Passive Fire Protection professional to join a leading facilities company. Job Title - Bid Manager for Passive Fire Protection Location - Birmingham - Flexible as travel will be national Job Type - Full Time / Permanent, Working Hours - Monday to Friday / 8.30-17.30 Salary - £50,000 - £60,000 Per Annum depending on experience Company Car / Car Allowance Your new company Our client are experts in facilities management, consultancy, project management and a range of specialist services that connect people with innovation and technology. They deliver a number of services on key contracts with leading blue chip organisations as well as smaller organisations and the public sector. Your new role As Bid Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales forecasting and tender planning for the Passive Fire Protection services that we offer. You will be responsible for your own individual sales targets and pipeline in order to maximise and meet commercial objectives. You will need to liaise with the customer throughout the sales process and maintain strong internal relationships with all of your stakeholders. What you'll need to succeed Behaviours: Knowledge of Passive Fire Protection Knowledge of sales process and procedures Level of customer Service Team Player Health and safety awareness and knowledge Communication Qualifications Strong knowledge of Passive Fire Protection - ESSENTIAL Proven ability in business development Excellent written and verbal communication Innovative in approach Strong commercial acumen Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build good working relationships Organisation and planning essential Individual committed to delivering their individual and company strategy and targets Experience of pricing and compile winning proposals Quick-thinking and able to operate at pace and under pressure Strong in time management Ability to work on own initiative to a high level of accuracy and to meet deadlines Customer Care - capable of delivering results and meeting customer expectations Ability to generate, develop and present ideas and suggestions for improvements in order to achieve more effective working practises Well presented, professional appearance and attitude with a positive and professional approach What you'll get in return In return for your hard work you will be rewarded with a competitive annual salary and bonus structure.
