Role: Account Manager Salary: c£27,000 bonus company car Laptop mobile Location: Bolton Hours: Monday to Friday 9am- 5pm Tailor Made Sourcing are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a well established FMCG business in their search for an Account Manager to join the team on a full time and permanent basis. The role is predominantly field based and has a focus on new business generation face to face (B2B). Our family owned client are based in Bolton and have a turnover in excess of £3m per annum. They have been established over twenty years and service some of the UK’s largest retailers. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate with a hunger to succeed or an experienced sales professional. Roles and responsibilities; ? Operating within a fast paced, business to business environment continually establishing sales opportunities within the retail industry ? Undertake market research to ascertain target clients and further understand their purchasing methods ? Covering the North West, Yorkshire and Midlands region, travelling to client sites on a weekly basis ? Negotiating pricing with new and existing customers and closing sales ? Attending exhibitions and arranging product samples for prospective clients ? Developing and managing a robust pipeline of new business prospects and opportunities ? Communicating and negotiating internally and externally, using appropriate methods to facilitate the delivery of profitable new business and sustainable relationships The ideal candidate will; ? Be an experienced sales professional or hold a sales related qualification ? Be personable and demonstrate exceptional levels of customer service at all times ? Have experience within a highly competitive environment (desirable) ? Have strong negotiation skills and the desire to succeed ?
