Edinburgh - Managing Recruitment Consultant - Permanent Desk Permanent People are currently working with an established, white collar recruitment business, based in Edinburgh and looking to hire an experienced Managing Recruitment Consultant. The Role This position would be building and developing a permanent recruitment desk, and specifically covering the Civil and Structure market. There is complete candidate ownership, so there is complete autonomy to really grow relationships with the people you are working with, and an opportunity to grow your network within the industry. Typical positions that are filled are architectural or structural engineers or site managers; facilities management, general practice surveyors etc Average fees: £4,000-£8,000 for mid-level £12,000-£14,000 at senior level Our client would like the coming recruitment consultant to be able to bring a new desk and expertise to the company, which would fit inline with the areas they currently cover. Experience Needed Three years relevant recruitment experience within this specialist sector Billing at the £250,000 per year level Social awareness and dynamic working approach 360 experience and proven billings Driving isn’t essential but it helps Industry knowledge for construction, architecture etc White collar preferred, blue collar is fine, but they must be happy to move into white collar The Company Established company, with a four office network across the UK. Young social dynamic team 50/50 split male female Dress how you feel comfortable, jeans allowed, relaxed environment, no KPIs or targets, mature working because all consultants have a high work ethic 9am-5:30pm standard hours but flexible so 8:30am-5:00 etc High performers - everyone is a high biller and bounce off each other Low staff turnover - 1 left in last 3 years Benefits Quarterly targets hit bonus, days off work, breakfasts and short days, Michelin star meals and cocktails Annual bonus - if hit annual targets get 4% over all billings in a package at end of year. Paid in 6 months intervals so can still qualify if haven’t hit target in first 6 months. Consultant of the month, based on work ethic not on billings - Vouchers and prizes Ad hoc incentives throughout the year Annual overseas trips i.e. Portugal for 3 days Top biller’s clubs 3 directors, 3 top billers and a wild card from admin/resourcer divisions Miami trip for hitting targets 3 nights in September this year, hotel beach etc 4-day week and remote working if billing
