Overview

Key Account Manager Bicester - 10 Month Fixed Term Contract Purpose of Job To manage a series of customer accounts to deliver the set-out objectives of the Consumer Sales Department. Main Responsibilities To achieve agreed sales budget in all accounts for NSV, TSPI, Volume and Gross Margin Regular contact with Tier 4 accounts (customers as defined by turnover or strategic importance to the business) with all necessary departments, prioritising need due to managing a multiple number accounts To maintain and update all account files, including all account administration - eg. Sales deductions and R code, Promotion calendar etc. To provide internal reports as and when requested To regularly visit all accounts stores to understand business and opportunities from a store perspective To communicate all marketing and public relations activities to all accounts To plan, execute and evaluate all promotions and all advertising spends Ensure all important information is passed to relevant departments Propose new products in line with company objectives and manage account expectations To look at opportunities to advertise BRITA alongside account-specific campaigns To suggest Point of Sale solutions to enable higher purchase conversion To offer display solutions in line with budgets, accounts and BRITA brand images To manage and evaluate demonstration budget alongside the Demonstration Manager To explore opportunities within accounts in house publications & internet sites Organise trade shows Look at cost-saving and operation solutions focussing on priority accounts Manage internal systems to ensure deadlines are achieved ie. promo proposals, invoices, price queries Regular updating of Prophecy the BRITA forecasting tool Analysis of sales out information and sales data on priority accounts Cost Management and Evaluation Training & Development To keep up to date with developments in their professional field To take part in management development programs as required To take part in Employee Dialogue/local EPDP process with Line Manager
