We conduct business from two locations based in surrey, United Kingdom. Firstly, our custom-built 20,000 square feet Head Office in Chessington is home to our 50 sales and customer support staff, backed by Customer Focus, Purchasing, Credit Service, Commercial Web and Marketing teams. Secondly, over 80,000 square feet of warehousing located in Weybridge, with more than 7,500 pallet bays and 13 loading bays, equips us to deliver 98.9% of orders the next working day. Job description and overall responsibilities Due to its continued growth, the Company is looking to recruit an additional Internal Sales Executive (ISE). The role will be part of a small dedicated team selling their portfolio to customers (as above) and will require both a strong pro-active approach and good account management skills. It will require good experience, acquired in a similar role over a 2-3 year period, a strong 'can do’ approach and alot of enthusiasm, energy and common sense. The role is based at their offices in Reading, Berkshire and might involve occasional travel to customer locations in the UK. There will be occasions when extended hours need to be worked to complete the job. Specific Responsibilities include Develop new business through pro-actively contacting prospects and engaging at a senior level to sell their proposition. Actively manage existing accounts to ensure repeat business and develop cross selling opportunities within those companies. Liaise with internal departments to facilitate the above. This will include Technical Support, Marketing, Operations and Finance. Resolve customer queries and problems in a satisfactory and timely manner Meet or exceed the sales targets set by management Adhere strictly to the Companys’ requirements for maintaining CRM and other systems Support external sales people and colleagues, as required. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of their products and services. To provide line management with reports and/or information, as required. Qualification and experience required The experience required for the position will ideally have been gained from working in a technology distribution environment. It will require: Demonstrable sales ability over a minimum period of 2 years Experience in using MS Outlook, Excel and Word for business purposes and CRM systems. Education to GCSE level. Well developed communication skills, both written and verbal. Good punctuality and time management Clear telephone manner and good listening skills The ideal candidate will also have: Driving ambition to succeed and a desire to be an integral part of a growing organisation. An outgoing and presentable manner when communicating with customers, suppliers and colleagues, even when under pressure. A strong 'can do’ approach. Ability to take initiative and to work under pressure with minimal supervision. Commercial awareness of factors affecting customers and the profitability of the Company
