If so, read on… Our client, a trade retailer, is currently looking for a Technical Sales Executive to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will be paying a base salary of circa £30K and OTE £60-£100K. The location of this role will be homebased; however, you will be required to travel across London and the South East. As the Technical Sales Executive, you will be… Responsible for the B2B sales of a range of products to the construction sector in Greater London Making appointments to visit buyers and/or owners Visiting construction sites and selling the full range of products Monitoring competitor activity Negotiations with suppliers to maximise sales, profit and margin Presenting the products, in face-to-face meetings Forecasting Attending training courses and gaining CSCS approval to enable sites to be visited Producing reports as required Representing the Company at trade exhibitions and shows Person Specification: Experience selling fixings, PTAs and general construction consumable products. Good knowledge of the range and diversity of construction fixings in the market At least 5 years in commercial environment is essential. Strong business acumen and commercially aware with ability to understand and interpret market information Good IT/system skills. Strong negotiation and analytical skills Ability to work under pressure and to manage own workload. Be able to multitask and resolve problems efficiently.
