Overview

New Business Software Sales Executive role working for an innovative £billion London software consulting company; you can work from home some of the time but will probably want to be in the office a fair amount of time. Experience selling cloud SaaS Application software is essential; any experience selling property management or student lettings software (particularly these two), bookings, hotel, rentals, housing, accounting, invoicing or membership type software would be extremely useful. Excellent English is essential and knowledge of a second European language would be beneficial. A very competitive package is on offer with a base salary to £65k and an uncapped OTE of £100k. The solution they sell is bought by property owners who typically have a £100m property that they rent to students. The solution runs the whole process for students renting rooms, from their initial interest through to viewings, tenancy agreements, deposits, invoices, rent, and the ongoing relationship. A typical deal is £50,000 to £100,000 in first year income and that is made up of setup fees and annual licenses. The software is a SaaS, cloud based, hosted solution, so clients typically sign a deal for 5 years. The software solutions are superb, leaders in their market and the company is growing and expanding rapidly. They are looking to hire 4 more people for their sales resource, which will allow them to push further into the European market. They already have European clients in Poland, Denmark, Germany, Hungary, France and Portugal but there are many more countries they have not entered yet, and they know who the potential clients are, which makes your job much easier. They have 800 client names and addresses in Europe, and their Telesales Consultants will ferret out the details and book appointments for you. A target of £500k is very achievable. Currently they do not have a Sales Director, and the expectation is that this position will be filled by someone being promoted internally into this role. So career prospects are excellent for the right person. You will have a new business sales background selling SaaS application software. It is not flat out hard core selling, it is very consultative sales, often dealing with a property owner with a £100 million portfolio of properties that they rent to students. Often the property owner doesn't have an existing solution or if they do it will be something basic, cobbled together on Excel. The job will involve some European travel, mainly day trips without overnight stays. This is an excellent role; you will get to do European sales of a cloud based SaaS software solution and have a lot of autonomy, so this is a chance to be creative and look at the sales process, work on the tactics, strategy and sales methodology. Because many of the clients have been identified already, you will be able to plan and work through the list, and then find other markets and clients. The solution is well priced and solves a whole bunch of problems that clients have, so there is massive potential to clean up with this, and the job could lead to the Sales Director slot.
