Insurance sales executive Barker Munro Insurance recruitment, Kent's leading independent insurance recruitment agency, is working with one of our well established clients who are currently looking to recruit an Insurance sales executive into their busy team. The role of the insurance sales executive is to support the growth of the company by generating new business by selling quotes to new clients and providing an excellent customer journey experience during the insurance sales process. Although the role is sales focused and you will be selling new insurance quotes to potential customers, around 80% of this business will come from an internal telemarketing team so a lot of the work is 'warm' sales as opposed to cold calling but you will need to find other customers to make up the 100% of business you are required to write. You will do a lot of the sales process yourself from the initial sale, to administering the paperwork, creating the quotation documents, setting up the client records on the system, issuing the correct documents to the client and diary management to help develop the relationship with these new clients in your portfolio. To be considered for the role of insurance sales Executive, we are looking for you to be able to demonstrate some exposure from within the insurance industry be that from personal lines or commercial lines insurance. You will have worked in a busy broker or insurer and be happy working in a busy team with a fair amount of time spent on the telephone.
