Area Sales Manager - Façades, Roofing & Cladding Job Title: Area Sales Manager -Facades, Roofing & Cladding Industry Sector: Facade, Standing Seam, Brick Slips, Cladding, Rainscreens, Insulation, Building Envelope Systems, Roofing, Architects, Main Contractors and Cladding Contractors Areas to be covered: Scotland & Ireland Remuneration: £45,000-£55,000 10% Bonus Benefits: Audi A4 full benefits package The role of the Area Sales Manager - Facades, Roofing & Cladding will involve: Field sales position selling a manufactured range of façade, rainscreen, standing seam roofing, brick slip cladding and steel frame systems 35% of your time winning specifications with architects 35% managing relationships with main contractors 30% managing the cladding sub contractors Inheriting an area turning over circa £2.1m, split approx. £1m standing seam roofing, £750,000 facades and £350,000 brick slip cladding Area is on budget Hugh opportunity for growth with new brick slip cladding products, our client has recently closed a £1m order Typical projects include student accommodation and residential Average project size circa £150,000 for façade and brick slip and approx. £50,000 for standing seam Ability to conduct CPD presentations 50% new business development, 50% conversation of project bank The ideal applicant will be an Area Sales Manager - Facades, Roofing & Cladding with: Proven construction field sales experience Must have architectural specification experience Must have sold into contractors, ideally main contractors and cladding contractors Must have sold a related product such as: facades, cladding, rainscreens, standing seam, brick slips, steel frame systems (SFS), metal roofing.
