Overview

Account Manager Candidates based around the M62 corridor Home based role covering North region (Manchester to Leeds and occasionally Scotland) Competitive salary plus company car Global CTS are working with a long standing client that designs and manufactures innovative furniture. The furniture is designed and built in the UK. Due to accelerated growth, a fantastic opportunity has become available for a new Account Manager to cover the North region. We are seeking a sales professional experienced in selling contract furniture to sell via both dealer network and through specifiers in the A&D community. The succuseeful candidate would ideally be based around the M62 corridor covering areas from Manchester to Leeds plus the occasional trips to Scotland. As an Account Manager you will be responsible for maintaining and growing the sales to a select number of accounts within the dealer sector. Directly assisted by your dedicated Internal Sales colleague and reporting to the Sales Director. Responsibilities: Develop and implement account plans and customer strategies, visiting dealers daily Presenting and product training and assisting dealers with their furniture projects Preparing quotations with timely follow-up through to close of a sale Closing orders and networking where applicable Make proactive outbound phone calls to your existing customers Recording all customer interactions on the CRM system Working closely with your Internal Sales Assistant Liaising with purchasing/logistics departments to assist with delivery queries Attending Sales Meetings Work with Sales Manager to develop and learn our products and competitor/market knowledge Assisting customers to get set up with credit accounts Make a high volume of high quality sales calls in order to generate leads and appointments Skills and Experience: Previous B2B sales experience selling contract furniture Excellent track record of sales success Strong understanding of the A&D sector and the part it plays in the sales cycle Comprehensive understanding of your area of sales i.e. commercial furniture, colour trends, key customer and main competitors Positive, proactive, dynamic salesperson with a creative approach and has a strong desire to succeed Confident communicator face to face, by phone, email and able to sell Able to work under high pressure in a very sales-oriented environment Totally flexible - will travel to close a sale at a moments notice Must take responsibility for own actions, targets, customers and outcomes Skilled order closer Able to delegate - to work closely and effectively with a dedicated Internal Sales Support person Global CTS Limited www.globalcts.co.uk
