Overview

We are looking for an extrovert, dynamic Software Sales Executive / New Business Salesperson who has previous experience selling PropTech software. The role is to work with a very well-established software consultancy operating in the property technology space. They deal with some very large property clients and offer consultancy, project management, implementation and support services. Salary to £60k, OTE £110k - their offices are near south London - but the role is based from home. However, most of their clients are in the London area. This would be perfect for someone ambitious and driven, with property software sales experience who is very tech aware, you will be commenting on industry blogs and attending events as well, so you need to be suitably chatty with an extrovert personality. A strong PropTech sales background is what they're after. They are looking for someone who is proactive, can build rapport quickly with commercial & residential property managers and real estate investors, manage their expectations, build lasting relationships, and has a "seek and win" attitude to recognising upselling opportunities. Your communication skills should be first rate and you are a great negotiator. Above all you have spark and energy as this is a growing company working in a state-of-the-art software area. They have built up a solid reputation for software implementation and services that their clients love, and they keep coming back for more. They also have developed their own solutions, one of which is a digital solution builder that can be used for a variety of things from a tenant portal, to emails, to managing clients, or sharing information between a housing community. It is a very versatile product that can do a multitude of things for their clients. The second product is an add-on to existing functionality that property companies use to manage the workflow of invoices and internal documents. The product has very nice functionality in terms of reporting and seeing who has done what when, so for a company processing a huge number of rents, invoices, repairs and maintenance, it allows them to really manage the process, so "stuff doesn't get lost". Both of these solutions are already being sold through a partner network outside the UK in Australia and the US. You will be working through the process, building rapport and trust and finding out about requirements and needs, and learning how the clients can use the software or services you can offer. The beauty of the role is that the clients already know the company; you need to sell them extras. Pretty much any client will need helpdesk services, property software consultancy, or the add-on functionality of these two new solutions - your job is to find out where the need is and sell them the right thing.
