Overview

As UK Field Sales Engineer you will be responsible for the following activities: - Identifying and developing sales opportunities for a range of specialist equipment leading to increased company turnover and profitability - Responding to client enquiries, visiting clients to advise and discuss specific requirements and liaising with the office to provide quotations - Ensure all possible influencers of any project are known and dealt with - Researching new markets and possible projects - Working with the UK Sales Manager to ensure that all enquiries are responded to in a professional and efficient manner. Our client is looking for a Candidate who has the ability to learn new equipment quickly and understand how it all works to a level where they would be able to go out and quote efficiently and effectively for clients. They would need to be able to offer a consultative sales approach and offer guidance/advice where necessary. Candidates must also have the following; - Live within 100 Miles of Nottingham (either south or west) - An Engineering/Mechanical Background. - Project based Sales Experience. - Experience of covering a large sales territory with extensive travel throughout the UK and be able to stay away with work. - You will be dealing with Capital Equipment and so Capital Engineering Sales Experience is advantageous but not essential. - Experience of selling products for NHS, funeral services, mortuary, crematorium, cemetery, pathology, laboratory, universities etc is advantageous but not essential. - Experience of selling any of the following equipment would be also be advantageous: Refrigeration, washing and sterilising equipment, fume cupboards,ventilation systems, biological safety cabinets, stretchers, trolleys etc. This is a fantastic opportunity to join the UK's Leading Company within this sector.
