Overview
My client is a well-established and highly reputable organisation with a site situated in impressive surroundings in the High Wycombe area. They have a new permanent opportunity in their team for a Retail Manager. Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for: Delivering excellent service in our stunning looking shop. Managing sales targets to increase sales and improve margin where possible. Manage and develop our ecommerce site. Efficient management of stock, pricing and ordering of replacement stock. Analysing sales figures and forecasting future sales volumes to maximize profits. Ensuring standards for quality and customer service. Analysing and interpreting sales trends. Responding to customer needs. Support the marketing department promoting the company brand. Organising special promotions, displays and events both on and off site. Maintaining awareness of market trends in the retail industry. Understanding forthcoming customer initiatives and monitoring local competitors. Initiating changes to improve the business. Working closely and maintaining good supplier relationships. Candidates that apply should have some previous Retail experience at a supervisory level and ideally with bespoke brand. You must have excellent Customer Service skills in person and on the phone, be organised and possess good attention to detail as well as being a team player.
