My customer is now moving into their 15th year of business and as a result hold Commercial Insurance Programmes for over 2,500 clients which equates to over 4,500 policies. As an established and growth orientated company, their projected premium income for the forthcoming 12 months should grow and exceed £15m. This is a true reflection of their professionalism and re-confirms the cost effectiveness of our premiums. As relationships with our preferred insurers continue to grow and develop. The future looks prosperous. As a very well established Insurance specialists, they now require a "Commercial Insurance Consultant "to join their dynamic and growing team: To contact potential clients to determine their renewal date and manage own database of prospective clients through to point of sale. To ensure that all clients’ requirements are met with professionalism advising them on the best cover possible that reduces a risk to their business. Once determining full requirements of the clients by completing detailed fact sheets it will be your role to source competitive quotations by means of negotiation with insurers. To account manage their case and ensure customer service levels are at an optimum level maximising success rate of renewals. OBJECTIVES Manage my own "ACT" database and follow through pipelines Complete a weekly 2 hour cold calling morning Secure Risks Complete Terms of Reference FCA Requirements (Risk Registers) Negotiation with Insurers / Sales Support Team Present Quotation and Risk Register to client Land Business Placing cover with insurers and after sales Renewals Client file management TARGETS Keep Act up to date and ensure I have 1500 renewal dates at any one time Daily calls to existing and new clients Working 3 months ahead secure risks - 20 per month Complete terms of reference for each client to maximise chance of securing business Send Risk Register to client for sign off Send risks to insurers with knowledge of terms of reference to secure best premiums for clients Ensuring all F&B presented and complete description of what cover entails Ensuring achieve monthly sales target of £3,000 earnings Ensuring everything is on cover, payment method recognised and prop forms are completed and all in order. Regular contact with Client and maximise earning on renewals, All files are accurate and up to date, risk registers correct and all information recorded for FCA requirement purposes.
