We are looking for professional sales people with a strong mechanical and technical aptitude for a permanent contract based in Middlesbrough RMS are acting as an employment business to recruit an Internal Sales Account Manager to join our client's internal sales team. Our international client has a strong reputation in the market place and are a leading manufacturer and supplier to the Chemical and Petrochemical, Oil and gas and power industries. Purpose As part of a growing internal sales team you will be enpowered to achieve sales targets by engaging with customers to proactively sell a catalgoue of products meeting the customers needs. Duties Management of account portfolio across the UK & Ireland Forge new relationship and nuture existing partnerships Promoting the company values through quality of service, business growth and Customer satisfaction Setting strategies to grow targeted regional areas Attending sales meetings Keeping up to date and continuing to develop a comprehensive understanding of products Managing and interpreting customer requirements Providing relevant marketing and competitor information Working to set sales targets Essential Criteria 5 GCSE's or equivalent including Maths and English Experience in Account Management role is essential Excellent communication skills with the ability to establish a rapport with customers Strong organsiational skills A good understanding of the Oil & Gas, Petrochemical or subsea environment would be benefical Self-starter with ability to work independently Proficent with sales and martketing Knowledge of consultative selling approaches and techniques IT Literate Strong presentation skills Ability to problem solve Ability to work under pressure Positive attitude Demonstrate strong personal values that mirror the company values A Mechnical or Technical Degree would be advantageous RMS Recruitment who is acting as a recruitment business advertising this vacancy is an equal opportunities employer and recruits and promotes employees on the basis of suitability for the job.
