Connected Home Specialist

Our client are Europe’s leading home safety products supplier. They design and manufacture a range of market leading products that provide peace of mind. Producing over 5million products a year, selling into all major names in the retail and DIY sectors as well as supplying over 90% of UK fire and rescue services, they are currently recruiting for a Connected Home Specialist to support the Connected Solutions Team and deliver Best Ever Service to connected home customers. Responsibilities: Develop an in-depth understanding of Connected Products and Services Provide Connected Product and Services Training to Customers and Business Partners Manage and support Installations in the field with new and existing projects Act as product champion, continuingly expanding, sharing and refreshing product knowledge Provide assistance, guidance and training to other members of the team Communicate with customers to update on process of ongoing Connected Installations Liaise with in-house Quality, Software and Firmware teams Experience & Qualifications: Minimum 2-3 years in similar role Educated up to a degree level or equivalent (preferred but not essential) Basic networking experience - TCP/IP networking, DNS, Router configuration - software and hardware, DHCP Excellent organisational skills and written and verbal communication skills The ability to operate as an effective team member
