Overview
Business Development Manager: Telecoms: Chepstow Our client, a market leader in the Telecoms sector, has an exciting role for a Business Development Manager. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate: Successful B2B Business Development in a professional and fast-pace international environment. It is highly desirable that this is in the Telecoms sector. Experience within an outbound sales role (telephone based). Experience of managing and developing successful Business Development teams, to include mentoring and training. Excellent working knowledge of Excel, CRMs and business systems. Exceptional communication skills. Specific responsibilities: Identify prospective customers and develop sales leads into all appropriate channels and verticals. Having a "hunter" mentality and opening up own lines of business. Generating new business with prospective clients in global markets utilising sales tools. Establishing strong client relations and creating solutions for clients. Presenting forecasts and pipelines, demonstrating knowledge of the business expectations across the division to the Sales Operations Manager and Group Sales Director. Maintaining awareness of market trends in the industry and monitoring what competitors are doing. Managing and developing a team of Trainee Business Development Executives. Responsible for the Business Development training scheme for the trainees. Responsible for all Business Development KPIs, including the interpreting and reporting of data. Interface with other internal departments as required, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction and quality of process. Responsible for personal health and safety and operating in a manner which is safe personally and for others. Follow all company policies and procedures including but not limited to quality, health and safety, environment and information security. The role is also expected to perform any reasonable requests which are not defined but in the ability of the individual.
