Job Description Aim of Job: Responsible for the generation of new business leads and appointments. With OTE of £25,000 The Altius group are seeking two sales professionals to join our successful and existing sales team. Following on from our success in recent years, our move to new prestigious offices on the docks in Preston has allowed space to expand all teams within the business. We specialise in the sale and transfer of businesses and need experienced sales professionals to join our team. You will need to be a confident negotiator as you will be dealing with business owners to get them to bring their business to market, when they may have not considered this route before. You will also data gather from business not currently looking to sell and leave them with full knowledge of what we offer so they may come on the market at a later date. This job is not based on a dialler as we expect our sales team to think on their feet to target the correct business at the correct times. You will be manually dialling and building relationships on a daily basis. Your work ethic must be strong as you will be expected to keep high levels of phone contact and a high level of quality data capture. Main Duties and Responsibilities: To generate leads and quality appointments for the Associate Directors. Advise on the product and service benefits to potential clients. To ensure that your own targets and key performance indicators are being met on a daily basis. To gather and document information about the customer. General: To promote and comply with the Altius Group’s policies on equal opportunities and in line with the Equality Act 2010. To be responsible for improving your performance by participating in the Performance Appraisal process with your manager. To carry out such other duties which are consistent with the nature, responsibilities or as necessitated by the needs of the business. This role profile is not exhaustive; it will be subject to periodic review and may be amended to meet the changing needs of the business. The post holder will be expected to participate in this process and we would aim to reach agreement to the changes. SPECIALIST KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS AND ABILITIES Essential Good and effective communication skills both internally and externally. Good telephone manner and skills. Strong Customer Service and process skills. Good negotiating and influencing capabilities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, KPI’s and Targets. TRAINING/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Essential Must have good knowledge and experience of using IT systems. OTHER REQUIREMENTS Essential Prepared to work as part of a team. To be able to work flexibly and be prepared to assist others. Has achieved a good attendance record. Have a positive can do attitude. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Salary: £18,500.00 /year
