Overview

Recruit Moore have been approached by our client in Manchester to support them in finding an Internal New Business Sales person. Our client has a strong record of retaining customers and growing organically, and as a New Business Sales person you will ensure this process starts from the very first interaction with future customers. Our client has a growing suite of additional products and services available to their customer base, therefore opportunities for identifying need and cross-selling underpin the organic growth potential. As the Internal New Business Sales person, you will ultimately be responsible for achieving sales, targets, ensuring key milestones are met, and that prospective customers are engaged and informed at all times. Critically, the sales approach must be in-keeping with our clients ethos, built upon genuine relationships, acting with integrity and delighting customers. You will be instrumental in identifying, developing and winning new customers within your allocated parameters. Our client is looking for someone with strong sales capabilities, a strategic thinker with commercial awareness who can operate independently as a subject matter expert, yet who interacts with colleagues on all levels to translate business objectives into success. Duties to include - Identify, develop and close New Business opportunities, in line with set targets Define a territory plan to effectively structure activity; adhere to milestones, deliverables, and critically review progress at all stages Manage your pipeline in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy of information and correct reporting of opportunities Support the external sales team with lead generation and sales support Work with the Marketing function to design and implement strategic sales campaigns Work collaboratively with the Head of New Business Development and wider leadership team to ensure initiatives are cohesive with the overall customer experience Support & inform the team leaders who are responsible for the day-to-day management of the team Foster a culture of building long term and genuine relationships with our customers, identifying key individuals and maintaining a close network Aim to delight customers and champion initiatives to further enhance the service or product offering Visit customers where necessary Submit a monthly pipeline report to the Head of New Business Development Requirements - Sales experience and commercial awareness Experience within the energy sector Ability to use data analysis to inform prospecting, territory planning and decision-making Successful sales cycle management experience Customer service experience Excellent telephone manner Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook, PowerBI Full UK driving license and a willingness to visit regional offices, customers and other relevant travel where necessary Recruit Moore acts as an employment agency in relation to this role.
