Overview

This multi-national, boutique Tech business is growing and looking for a customer focused Account Manager or Business Development Manager to take an a hybrid role, managing B2B accounts, ensuring maximum retention and growth. The role is based partially from the offices in Leeds / Harrogate and partially in the field, covering Yorkshire & Lancashire. You will be responsible for managing existing accounts, cross selling and up-selling, as well as winning new business. Working alongside the Technical Team, you will be the sole Account Manager, responsible for managing the Accounts of 90 business customers from day 1, offering value and quality of service first and foremost. In addition, you will have new business leads provided by the marketing department and will self-generate opportunities to grow revenues by winning new accounts. You will have the opportunity to progress and develop within the business as they continue to expand over the coming months and years. Key Responsibilities Maintain regular contact with existing accounts and visit client sites to carry our service reviews. Make appropriate recommendations for hardware / software upgrades, backups, MSP contracts etc. Cross sell and upsell where appropriate, focussing on client retention and service. Identify new business opportunities and prospects, setting up and attending meetings to promote the company product portfolio, including: Maintenance contracts, Cyber Security, Server supply & installation, Websites, SEO, content management, IT hardware - external hard drives, dual monitors, laptops & desktops etc Following up on leads generated by marketing campaigns Working to achieve sales targets consistently Updating and maintaining the CRM system Required skills / experience: B2B Sales or Account Management experience required, ideally in a technical or solutions environment, although all transferable industries will be considered. You do not need to have experience in selling IT services, full product training can be provided for the right candidate. You will have a good track record of managing and growing B2B accounts Experience of new business acquisition Must be comfortable conducting meetings and presenting quotations both in person and over the telephone You will be I.T savvy, with an interest in technology Must be organised and able to manage your own diary, sales pipeline and workload Naturally positive Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills Target-orientated/Results-focused Highly motivated, with a pro-active approach to workload You must have a Full UK Driving License in order to travel to client sites. The Package Generous basic salary circa £25 - 30,000 starting basic Uncapped commission structure, offering commission for both renewals and new business sales.
