Trainee Mortgage Advisers - LANCASTER

Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) are a nationally recognised mortgage broker and network, winners of over 150 awards in the past 5 years and continually growing. We are now seeking Trainee Mortgage & Protection Advisers to work for one of our top broker and estate agency Appointed Representative's (AR) based in their estate agency network in the Lancaster area or within commuting distance. You will be responsible for delivering a first class experience to new and existing customers who wish to arrange a mortgage using Mortgage Advice Bureau (MAB) The role will involve working closely with the all manner of leads to provide mortgage advice to clients buying and selling property, remortgaging and requiring protection products; to include prospecting, completing a fact find, understanding the client's needs and recommending mortgage or protection products that meet their requirements. You will start your journey with the business with them providing you a good insight into the business; how they work, what their culture is and how they deal with their customers. They will invest a lot of time, energy and resource into helping you to become a successful adviser within 3-4 months, and in fact expect candidates to be advising customers in some product areas within two months of joining. During the period of your training (expected to be 3-4 months) you will undergo a full structured training programme on all elements of the role supported by both the AR business as well as the MAB team at MAB's Derby Head Office. You must be fully CeMAP qualified (or equivalent to give mortgage and protection advice) at the outset, or very close to completing the qualification, CeMAP 1 being the minimum acceptable level, to show your commitment. In addition to a professional qualification any experience within an estate agency or at least a sales environment, especially telesales, would be highly advantageous. Starting salaries whilst training will be negotiable based on relevant qualifications and experience.
