ERP Software Sales Executive - Midlands

Ambis Resourcing ,
Redditch, Worcestershire
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: £45,000 per annum

Overview

This position is for a Software Sales Executive who has sold ERP or Accounting software solutions, to join a rapidly growing ERP reseller based near Redditch. Starting salary to £50k, plus car allowance and uncapped commission of £40-50k per annum, on a £400k GP target. They have around 15 staff so far, the MD is an inspiring guy, and is doing around £500k new business sales of his own at the moment. Plus, they have another ERP solutions Sales Executive you would work alongside, who is doing similar numbers to the MD after her first 3 months to get up and running. And they have an innovative Marketing Manager who has recently joined. So, they are busy, doing well and growing to plan. They are looking for a creative sales person with experience of mid-market ERP sales, ideally SAP Business One or SAP Business ByDesign, otherwise a similar mid-market solution such as MS Dynamics NAV, Sage 200, NetSuite, Protean, Pinewood, MS Dynamics GP, WinMan, OGL, Prophet, Infor etc. What is unusual about this job is that they are looking for a creative thinker, someone who is a strategist and who can look at a market and thinks about different sales strategies, different routes to market, different services, different sectors, or possibly repackaging the offering. This would suit a successful ERP Sales Executive or BDM, who is bright and intelligent, into personal sales development, into technology, and invests in themselves. Effectively this role will involve being Sales Director in some aspects of the role but a hands-on target carrying sales person, in other aspects. This is an environment where customers get a very consultative approach. Clients do not pay deposits; the solutions are solely cloud based and are paid for on a subscription basis with services over 12 months. They are looking for someone with at least 3 years ERP sales experience in the mid-market sector, a good understand of finance, manufacturing and distribution functions would be a key advantage . A typical deal could be 20 users on a subscription license which would be about £10k pa in license fees, and then up to 50 days consultancy at £800 per day on a 50% margin. So, a typical deal is worth about £30k in GP and a big one is worth £100k. Everyone who interviews here, loves this company; it has a really good feel to it and it's an exciting place to work. They are quite office centric so proximity to Redditch is a factor. To find out more contact Jake King or Carolyn MacLurg at Ambis.
