About the role As a developer, you’ll be working with the team to deliver great features to our users, and building and maintaining our platform. You’ll focus on delighting our users over writing perfect code. Your main responsibilities will be to: Build and improve our Ticketing platform, dashboard and API Work with developers of all experience levels to ensure you’re constantly both learning and sharing your knowledge Input into tech decisions and share successes with company Helpful skills and experience Professional experience with PHP and a modern PHP framework (we use Laminas, Mezzio and Symfony) Solid understanding of web applications Experience in testing Familiarity with security Confidence as an individual contributor Excellent communication skills and you thrive in a collaborative environment Bonus if you have experience with: AWS The demands of e-commerce platforms This role will suit you if You enjoy working in a small, collaborative team You value testing your work in all forms You're excited about putting in place good processes You want to design the architecture and platform as we grow You value security and actively seek areas to improve You're ambitious, enjoying constantly learning, and have a growth mindset What we’re offering Competitive salary based on experience Annual bonus based on company growth Generous budget to set up your working environment £500 annual learning budget, including a Kindle upon joining 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays) Opportunity to work in a small business and get involved in more than just tech Flexible working hours and remote working Annual retreat Work in our lovely modern office (complete with cute dogs) in East London
