Job Description

We are seeking an experienced External Sales Engineer to join a family-run SME based in Gloucestershire . The role will is a National role, however the majority of customers are based in the South East, covering Oxford, Southampton through to Bedford. As a talented Sales Engineer, your role will be to network with key stakeholders to promote and sell products to meet customers' requirements, following-up opportunities and recommending appropriate products and giving technical assistance where necessary to increase the Company's market share. Key responsibilities and duties of the role... * Promote the client's manufactured products and key distribution ranges * Negotiating and closing contracts/quotes * Follow up of initial quotations to customers * Recommending appropriate products and liaising with the customer as required * Work alongside internal proactive sales team * Manage the roles project pipeline and report as needed * Give technical advice to customers and internal stakeholders * Accountable for maintaining personal KPI's Requirements The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and qualifications... * Proven track record within a proactive, technical sales role * Self-motivated, tenacious, driven to succeed, and results oriented * Comfortable in understanding the workings in a Plant room * Engineering / plumbing background is desirable * Knowledge of valves, tanks or pump manufacturing * Ability to work logically and methodically through complex challenges * Competent Level of IT Skills Benefits * Salary circa 40k (negotiable depending on experience) * +Bonus * 25 day's holiday + 8 Days Bank Holiday * Lunch provided in the office, or lunch allowance for when away from the office * Car or Car allowance * Monthly rewards scheme
