Based in the UK, INSTANDA is an insurance software provider challenging the status quo. We have built an exciting software tool which fundamentally changes how companies who sell insurance can design and deliver insurance products to the market. We work directly with Insurers, Managing General Agents (MGAs), and Brokers. Using leading-edge technologies, INSTANDA insurance software is entirely configurable from the ground up. It is not a one-size-fits-all model. We allow companies to use insurance software in the way they want to. Founded in 2012, we spent several years designing and building the platform which is now being used globally by some of the worlds largest insurance companies. Learn more about us at JOB DESCRIPTION Based in London, we are seeking a Technical Pre-Sales Analyst to grow our Sales team. Reporting to Leon Walker the Head of New Business UK & London Market, this role supports the initial qualification, technical engagement with and development of prospects. This role immerses you deep into the trenches of c-suite engagement with senior figures in the global Insurance market, technical requirements capture with subject matter experts and internal stakeholder management. Responsibilities will include: * Analysing market data to ensure that the team are expanding in key client segments * Maintaining an up to date view of competitor performance, strengths and weaknesses * Creating sales pitches in conjunction with the Marketing team * Assisting in the prospect qualification process including initial phone contact with leads * Analysing technology estates and requirements arising from prospect interactions * Translating business use cases into actionable technical criteria and development requests * Diving into the deep end to not only gather the desired outcome, but to verify that the solution is adaptable to a wider audience of client consumers * Enthusiastically demonstrating the key strengths and functionalities of our ever growing platform * Keeping an eye on the technology climate, both internal and external and making recommendations to keep us at the top of our class. Whats are the characteristics required from the successful candidate? * Proven track record in lead generation and sales for software in a digital context, ideally within the life, property & casualty markets. * Strong consulting and relationship building skills, both with clients and internally within the organisation * Self-starter who can manage multiple tasks at the same time and be able to work with Execs (C Suite) as well as technology, solutions and junior staff within clients and INSTANDA * Understanding of technology with an ability to connect client requirements to INSTANDA solutions * Ability to communicate complex ideas simply for Executive overview as well as detailed requirements * Strong team work ethic but a proven ability to take and make decisions with key internal and external decision makers. Requirements * A Bachelors / Masters degree or 3+ years relevant professional experience (internships count!) of which you have ideally spent time in a fast-growing organisation * Exposure to cloud architecture and its benefits at an intermediate level * Experience working within the Insurance market (i.e. Broker/Insurer/MGA) or tech start-up is a major asset * Must be both technically and commercially savvy, with keen listening skills * Ability to multi-task and diligently manage competing deadlines in a target driven environment * High EQ with a confident presentation style and networking skills * Intermediate working of Excel & PowerPoint is a must Benefits * We offer a base salary together with a strong annual bonus potential payable against individual and overall business sales targets this is in addition to a discretionary quarterly basis bonus based on the performance of the company for our employees who have passed their probationary period * We offer 25 vacation days but recognise that some people like more personal time!
