Job purpose: Working out of our Flagship Rugby Hub, the role of our Corporate Bookings Co-Ordinator is to book all client requirements for collections, returns, assets, SOT's, Flyers and all other hub inbound in to our Planning Software. The Corporate Bookings Co-Ordinator will manage and interact with the corporate clients as a front face of the Hermes operation so you must be an excellent communicator and someone who is comfortable working with large amounts of complex data. About the Role: Our Corporate Bookings Co-Ordinator is a brand new role in our planning and operations department. Working alongside our team of Forecast Analysts and Planners you will work pro-actively to suggest optimised changes and provide the final plans to the Planners and Hub operations teams. The position holder will also support and manage/track the assets to ensure good service and supply. This is a varied role where you will work closely with large numbers of Hermes clients as well as senior internal stakeholders across the Hermes business. You must be comfortable taking full ownership of tasks and projects and being able to prioritise your work and react quickly to changing information provided by our clients. Because of the 24/7 nature of our business, our Corporate Bookings Co-Ordinator role DOES include weekend working on a rota basis. Experience/Qualifications: * Experience of raising purchase orders and invoicing * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Experience of collating large amounts of data and analysis * Experience of using a TMS System * Understanding of supply chain and related processes * Ability to handle multiple client requests and channel the communication correctly * Good organisation skills * Good Microsoft Office skills, including MS Excel and preferably MS Access * Strong commercial understanding * Data manipulation and modelling / costing techniques skills * First class organisational skills Responsibilities: * Collating the Hub Collection, Assets and Returns daily profile * Booking Returns, Supplier Owned Transport, Assets (such as cages, pallets, magnums, collars etc or any other assets that a client requires to present their load to us as per their ops agreement) Flyers and Collections in line with SLAs, optimising wherever possible to ensure the most cost effective and efficient methods * Liaising with clients, including face to face interaction, regarding client collection requirements to discuss asset, returns and collection requirements, maintaining a positive relationship. Uploading collection requirements ready for planning for all clients. * Liaising with Commercial management team regarding client requirements * Defining operational routes, quantities per route and the forecast / schedule * Onboarding of new clients into the network through implementing the new client ops brief and interfacing with the internal systems * Agreeing the planned hub trunking legs and timings with the hubs and confirming the stand trailer requirements for both the Hubs and Clients * In collaboration with the Corporate Bookings Manager, participate in annual peak planning across the Corporate Bookings Function, including detailed client requirements to enable the Forecast & Planning team to use historical data for forward planning and trends in the future.
