Job Description

We are looking to recruit a skilled Traffic Engineer for our client to join their growing traffic and transportation business in London. The role will involve mentoring junior members of staff in the development of their design capabilities with the successful candidate operating as a 'design lead'. You will play a key role in the delivery of technical studies across a wide variety of projects within London and across the UK. The projects that our client undertakes is varied, challenging and often high profile as a result you will enjoy an interesting and satisfying work-life with many opportunities to develop valuable skills and experience. Role and Responsibilities: * A good level of professional work experience, with London experience highly desirable * A relevant degree in engineering, a post graduate qualification in transport planning or a suitable level of professional experience to demonstrate capability * A strong understanding and working knowledge of AutoCAD * A working knowledge of industry guidance - TSRGD, Manual for Streets etc * A high standard of numeracy * Good written and spoken English * A proficiency with MS Office software and Excel in particular * With experience of project management desirable Skills and Requirements (proficiency with some or all of the software packages would be considered beneficial) * Autodesk vehicle tracking * TRL Junctions 10 (ARCADY/PICADY) * JCT LinSig * TRL TRANSYT * PTV VISSIM * PARAMICS * PTV VISUM This is an excellent chance to join an exciting and growing business, you will have the opportunity to play a core role in the future development and success of this organisation.
