LCCI Reviser Reference: LCCIRev2014 Pearson are seeking revisers to support the development and delivery of assessments for LCCI qualifications. In particular for the writing and marking of exam papers. Pearson London Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) International examinations are a symbol of business expertise and success, and are recognised throughout the world. They are work-related qualifications, created to give professional learners the skills and knowledge needed to thrive in the workplace. The examinations assess the professional knowledge of the subject and are tested in English. These qualifications are for business in a range of subject areas: + Financial and Quantitative + Marketing and Customer Service + Business, Administration and IT Pearson LCCI International qualifications are offered through a growing network of over 4,000 centres, supported by extensive learning resources and easy online administration. The qualifications are taken in over 80 countries and each year over 500,000 are awarded across the globe. We are looking for revisers for the following qualifications: Business Calculations Level 2 and 3 Business Fundamentals Level 2 Business Principles and Enterprise Level 3 Computerised Accounting Level 3 Copywriting and Content for Marketing Level 3 Customer Experience and Communications Level 3 Digital Marketing and Analytics Level 3 Marketing Fundamentals Level 2 Modern Marketing Principles Level 3 Public Relations and Media Relations Level 3 Sales and Account Management Level 3 Applicants must have a degree or equivalent, and teaching experience in the relevant subject. A teaching qualification is desirable, but not essential for all roles. As a writer, reviewer, scrutineer or examiner, you can use your knowledge and expertise to contribute to the robust and expedient delivery of qualifications. Visit our website for information on the Pearson LCCI qualifications: Purpose The Reviser checks the draft of the question paper and mark scheme to ensure that they are accurate, error free and fit for purpose. Successful applicants will be required to cover multiple units with the same area. Responsibilities Specifically review, and ensure that the question papers: + are appropriate to the specific range of ability + can be worked by the candidates in the time allotted + do not, as far as is practicable, advantage or disadvantage particular groups of candidates on grounds other than competence in the subject + use source material which does not cause offence because of inappropriate subject matter or language + adequately cover the subject matter of the current specification and that all questions are within the specification + contain no unnecessary repetition of questions within the set of papers and that the questions differ from those used in previous years + Complete a full report concerning each question paper and submit it to the Content Production Manager. + Attend the Question Paper Evaluation Committee (QPEC) meeting. Experience/qualifications needed + You will have a degree or equivalent + You will be a qualified teacher (desirable) + You will have recent relevant teaching experience Competencies required + You will be able to communicate well + You will have sound organisational skills. + You will have the ability to work well under pressure. + You will have the ability to meet deadlines. + You will be IT literate.
