Senior Non-medical Prescriber Permanent Band 7 Full Time: 37.5 hours per week We are looking to recruit two resilient individuals to take up the role of Senior Non-Medical Prescribers (NMPs) to an exciting new post across Neuro Developmental Disorders (NDD) services, within the Community Mental Heath Division. The NDD service provides assessment for individuals within Camden and Islington referred for Autistic Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and adult Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD). The ADHD service also provides a degree of treatment following assessment. The post holder as a Senior Non-Medical Prescriber will deliver Non-Medical Prescribing interventions for the ADHD Service in the London Boroughs of Camden and Islington. The post-holder will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, including medical staff, working in predominantly Secondary Care settings. The post holder will be expected to provide assessment and treatment, including the prescribing of medications for those diagnosed with ADHD. The post holder will be an experienced Non-medical Prescriber with specialist knowledge and be able to provide advice to GPs and other relevant professionals and service users on mental health medications, including those for ADHD. The post holder will contribute to governance and audit, ensuring that service delivery focuses on the quality agenda and that dignity, privacy and respect is afforded at all times to service users.
