Occupational Therapy Clinical Lead Band 7, Acute Division Full time - permanent This is an exciting opportunity for an committed and capable Occupational Therapist with experience in acute mental health settings, to build on or develop their leadership skills. The post holder will lead one of our two Acute Inpatient Occupational and Arts therapy teams, comprising qualified Occupational and Arts Therapy staff, Activity Workers and Support Workers. They will have proven clinical skills in working with service users with complex needs including physical health and mobility issues. The post holder will lead in the provision of a focused off ward Therapy Programme for service users, as well as ward based activity. As part of this team they will have a key role in effective discharge planning, working closely with MDT colleagues and supporting the work of the Discharge Facilitation Team. With colleagues they will continue to build on quality and effectiveness, identifying opportunities for further service development; currently there are a number of QI projects the team is involved with. We are a friendly and supportive team, with well established peer and management supervision provided within the profession. This is an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist looking to progress into a leadership role.
