Dementia Support Worker

About you We are looking for an individual who has NVQ level 3 (or equivalent) with an understanding of dementia and the needs of those living with dementia and their Carers. Your ability to assess service user needs along with the understanding for client confidentiality is essential to providing a worthwhile service. To be successful in this role you will need to share the vision of the Alzheimer's Society, have strong organisational and time management skills as well as good communication skills and the ability to coordinate and manage volunteers within a local team. As the groups run on Tuesdays and every other Saturday afternoon we are looking for someone who be available at the times of the groups.
